The fundamental idea in the education of the young is the fact that it is through the younger generations that society successively rebuilds itself; therefore the primary concern of society is to teach the young. (This is the opposite of what currently happens). The main theme in all of our writings and lectures has always been education': how to educate ourselves, what education consists of, and how it takes place. We mean a true education, one that matches human reality - that is, educating what is human in us, our source and origin, which in everyone of us is reflected in a different way, even if fundamentally the human heart is always the same. Although expressed in different ways in each individual, this properly human dimension always reflects the same substance, for behind the diversity of different cultures, customs, and expressions, the human heart is one and the same: my heart is your heart, and it is the same heart possessed by those who live far away in other countries or continents.
Professional training
We offer various activities that assist in career guidance, professional training, and help with work placements for young people in difficult situations, including for the disabled, orphans and refugees. In our Centre, there are permanent courses in four areas in which 50 children are enrolled: working with felt, woodworking, cutting and sewing, and baking.
Rehabilitation services
Three years ago, thanks to the support of «Renovabis», we launched a new project called the "Centre for the Complete Rehabilitation of Children and Young People with Special Needs". Many of the children in this project also attend other activities offered by our Centre, and we can see how the physical and psychological support by some of our specialists has helped them in their development.
Help for families
We provide assistance to several families in difficult situations that are part of the project “Remote Support” promoted by AVSI, an Italian NGO. Every week, we deliver essential goods to their homes, and we support the children through some activities, like study aid. In addition, our Centre houses a collection point for used clothes that are sent to those in need.
